Safety for women

Practical tips for safety of a woman:

1. As per Indian Penal Code 233. If a girl is suspected to be raped or getting raped, then she has the supreme right to *kill* the man, or *harm* that person as dangerously and girl won't be blamed for *murder*.
2. What should a woman do if she finds herself alone in the company of a stranger male as she enters a lift in a High Rise apartment late at night  She after entering lift  must press all the buttons up to her destination so that the lift stops at every floor till she reaches destination floor. This will make impossible for male to attack or molest the woman.
3. When a stranger tries to attack lonely woman in her house best alternative is the woman should run into the kitchen where chili powder and turmeric are kept. Also the woman knows where knives and plates are kept. Use these as deadly weapons. Alternatively start throwing plates and utensils all over & break while making noise. Also the woman should scream as loudly as possible. Noise is the greatest enemy of a molester. He would run away to avoid getting caught.
4. Before getting into an auto /taxi at night note down its registration number. Also use camera in mobile to take photo of driver and place. Woman should send this to family & friend in the language the driver understands. Call family & even if no answer pretend you are in a conversation. The driver must knows that his details are with some one & he will be in serious trouble if he does something wrong. The woman converts potential attacker in to a de facto protector using this method.
5. If the woman finds the driver taking vehicle on unknown street she should use one of these. Purse handle or stole (dupatta) or collar of driver’s shirt and pull him back so he feels choked and helpless. Top button of driver’s  shirt also make him choke.
6. If a woman is stalked at night she should enter a shop or a house and explain her situation &  predicament. Even ATM centers would be suitable because it is equipped with close circuit television. Attacker would know this and would be afraid of because of fear of identification.
7. Mentally alert is the greatest weapon for a woman.

Astonishingly all so called religions both present and past are unanimous on status of women i.e. mother. Christens recognize women as "Mother Supreme", Hindus consider woman as "Shakti" i.e. strength or power. However, there are 3 distinct cultures in the world. Western, West Asian and Indian. Eastern part of Asia has a mixed culture. Originally all cultures were developed based on a single factor of "survival" During early days of human culture physical strength had been necessity for survival. Man being superior in physical strength was given more importance than a woman. Now time has changed and mental intellectual strength is more important for survival than physical strength. Therefore woman has a better place in today's society. There is a need to recognise this change and reform the society to give a status to women based on their intellectual strength.
