Concept of the god had been invented by all scholars who preached a specific religion. This had been their imagination. However, this concept had been highly useful for controlling a society.

Indians consider Lord Shree Krishna as the God. As per the definition given by Maharshi (a saint and scholar) Yvaas he was the god. However, he was not the born god. He became god because of his personal qualities like selflessness, care taker of then existing society, intelligence, devotion to Karma, ready to work for the society even at his own cost and alike.
To exercise one's right on Karma may appear simple. However, it has been always been difficult to decide in most of the situations. There is a simple rule.

Mahatma Gandhi understood meaning of Charakha the way entirely different from what we practice today. Charakha had been a symbol of offering work in every person's home. Charakha offered work to every person. Charakha ensured that every one is employed. Charakha showed self-sufficiency.

It needs to be borne in mind that minimum requirements for living must be fulfilled after tax is paid by a citizen. For this purpose needs of a lower middle class may be taken in to consideration. 
Political parties all over the world have members and active representatives. Active representatives have more all less full time job as politician. This leads to sole aim of getting elected or grabbing some office of advantage/profit.
India needs to decide the aim first. Chinese aim had been and even now is 'rapid economic growth'. There had been no moral issues involved while achieving the aim. Chinese are capable of giving a warm embrace while stabbing in the back.
