जैतापूरवरून दाभोळ प्रकल्पाची आठवण येते. तो प्रकल्पही एक राजकिय पक्ष अरबी समुद्रात बुडविण्याच्या गोष्टी करत होता. त्यांचे हे मत मात्र राज्यात सत्ता मिळाल्यावर अचानक बदलले. सत्तेत आल्यावर तो प्रकल्प नुसता राबविलाच नाही तर त्याची क्षमता दुपटीपेक्षा जास्त वाढविली. हा बदल का झाला हे

अण्णांचा हेतु शुद्ध आहे. त्याबद्दल शंका घेण्यास वाव नाही. परंतु, त्यांचे प्रयत्न भ्रष्टाचार होऊ नये पेक्षा भ्रष्टाचाऱ्याना शासन करणे यावर आहे. वैयक्तिक भ्रष्टाचार उघडकीस आणून अण्णा आपली ताकद खर्ची घालत आहेत. त्यांच्या सारख्या व्यक्तिमत्त्वाने भ्रष्टाचार होऊ नये या करता प्रयत्न केले पाहिजेत. माहितीविषयीचा कायदा ही उत्तम पायरी त्यानी बांधली. ही एकच पायरी भ्रष्टाचार निर्मूलन करू शकणार नाही हे समजून आणखी पायऱ्या बांधल्या पाहिजेत. 
राजकीय नेत्यांचा आरक्षण हा आवडीचा विषय. काहीही न करता मते मिळवण्याचा सोपा उपाय! डॉ. आंबेडकरानी आरक्षणाबरोबर प्रशिक्षणाचा मुद्दा महत्त्वाचा आहे हे ही मांडले होते. प्रशिक्षणाचा मुद्दा मुस्लीमच काय सर्वच भारतीयाना लागू होतो. अशा व्यक्तीला मोफत योग्य शिक्षण देऊन असे सक्षम करावे की, त्याला आरक्षणाची गरजच भासणार नाही. आरक्षण हे राजकारण्याना सापडलेले औषध रोगावर उपयोगी असो अगर नसो राजकीय पक्षाना ते सोईचे, कमी जबाबदारीचे व मते मिळवण्याकरता रामबाण आहे.

मुलींची संख्या रोडवण्याची अनेक कारणे आहेत. मुख्य कारणे तीन प्रकारात मोडतात. पहिले धार्मिक, म्हणजे वंश टिकवणे, धार्मिक कर्माचा अधिकार फक्त्त मुलालाच वगैरे. दुसरे आर्थिक म्हणजे संगोपनाचा खर्च मुख्यतः शिक्षणा करता. तिसरे कारण लग्न जमवण्यात येणारे कष्ट व खर्च. 
समृद्ध भारत बनविण्याकरिता फक्त विकास हाच मुख्य मुद्दा मानणे म्हणजे डोळे झाकून दूध पिणाऱ्या मांजरासारखे आहे. विकासाबरोबर सुरक्षित भारत हे सुद्धा महत्त्वाचे आहे. त्या करिता भारतापुढचे धोके कोणते हे जाणणे महत्त्वाचे आहे. ते माहित झाले तर निदान उपाययोजना करण्याकरिता विचार होऊ शकतो.

धर्माचा उद्देश समाजामध्ये ऐक्य निर्माण करणे हा आहे. तसेच त्याचे मूलतत्त्व बंधुत्त्व हे आहे. परंतु, काही स्वार्थी लोकांनी लोकांचे लक्ष पूजा-अर्चेकडे वळवून स्वतःकरिता अर्थार्जनाचा सोपा मार्ग शोधून काढला. त्यामुळे सर्वांची समजूत झाली की धर्म म्हणजे पूजा-अर्चा. पूजेचे नियम पाळले की मनुष्य धार्मिक समजला जातो.

In India it is a daily problem to find suitable and adequate space for facilities needed by citizens. A police station or a police post is needed. However no suitable space is given by the local government office. A post office is necessary but can't be provided for want of space. Women need public lavatories when they come out of house. Caste system is known in Hindi (Indian language) as Jati (Caste) Jo Jatee Nahi (is eternal). Not that caste system is new thing to the world. It always exists everywhere. However, there is a great difference in caste system followed in India and all other countries in the world. In India caste is related to 'Roti' and 'Beti'. This means eating together and marriages are decided based on caste of a person. 
Indians are generally not corrupt. However, mostly they like to find a shortcut in every aspect of life. In finding shortcut and breaking rules there is tendency to accept corruption. In short if other is corrupt that person is hated by one and all and when it comes to self corruption all are found to be touchable.

This is not a new concept. Leaders in India have thought over this for over hundred years. No conclusive and accepted solution by all, has yet been found though. Many of the national leaders accepted Hindi as the contact language for Indians. There had been resistance to this specially from southern states. 
In every village in India when a father finds his offspring not doing well in school studies, the favourite advice is "you better take up agriculture as your career". When the father does not hold land or there is no possibility of continuous employment in agriculture the offspring is sent to a city or town for doing some low paid job. This is one of the reasons cities are growing at high speed in population. 
पुणे-पिपरीचिंचवड सारख्या शहरात कमी उत्पन्न गटातील नागरिकांकरिता सदनिका बांधून दिल्या जातात. पूर्वीच्या बैठ्या चाळीतील नागरिकांना गुंठेवारीप्रमाणे घरे बांधण्यास परवानगी दिली आहे. या सुविधा अत्यावश्यक आहेत. परंतु त्यांचा नगरनियोजनाच्या व पर्यावरणाच्या दृष्टीकोणातून विचार केलेला दिसत नाही.
